This article is in horrible shape. It looks more like a discussion page than an actual, legitimate article. It needs major attention. RobertM525 09:44, 28 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

It's a personal essay. I'm unsure if there's anything here worth keeping. — goethean 16:28, 27 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps not, but it does seem like a topic worthy of an article as there appears to be some parallels between Jainism and Hinduism. Or at least that's what it seemed like from my World Civilization class last semester. :) RobertM525 19:11, 27 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

This article was at Jainism and Hinduism, but was moved here (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jainism and Hinduism). The resulting redirect was deleted. Proto::type 11:36, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Can we please have a link for the text of the bill?

Consequences?

edit

What it leaves out is any mention of the consequences associated with being considered a "religious minority" rather than "part of Hinduism" within India. Is this just legislation over labels or are there practical, real world consequences to this designation? That should be mentioned in the article.75.133.90.126 (talk) 02:57, 26 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
