Merge Lashkar in this article

edit

I am suggesting that the article on Lashkar should be merged to Gwalior since Lashkar is not a city in itself but a part of Gwalior city - suburb to be more precise. Basically Gwalior consits of Lashkar, Morar and Gwalior itself. This is Tanul | Wanna Talk 06:20, 29 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yessir it is and it should be ( merged). Haphar 14:45, 16 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Gwalior and Gwalior Fort

edit

There are two articles. Perhaps the part with Telika Mandir and any other monuments at the fort should be shifted over to Gwalior Fort? —Preceding unsigned comment added by RoverDingbat (talkcontribs) 11:00, 7 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Nowdays, There so many facilities in the Gwalior Fort. And also come to see this place :

WPMILHIST

edit

This was paced here becuase of the discussion of the fort in the article; if there is an article here which discusses the fort at length then feel free to move the template there. TomStar81 (Talk) 08:32, 19 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

There is a separate article for the fort, therefore I am removing the template from this article. Borg Sphere (talk) 14:11, 28 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

WP:INDIA Banner/Madhya Pradesh workgroup Addition

{{WP India}} with Madhya Pradesh workgroup parameters was added to this article talk page because the article falls under Category:Madhya Pradesh or one of its subcategories. capital city of what?

edit
Gwalior was the capital city of Great Maratha Sardar (Knight) & Warrior Maharaja Shrimant Madhavraoji Shinde - Sawstant Gwalior.

Okay, who or what was Great Maratha Sardar (Knight) & Warrior Maharaja Shrimant Madhavraoji Shinde - Sawstant Gwalior? A personal name Madhavraoji Shinde appears later in the article, so I'm guessing that the part before the dash means Maharaja Madhavraoji Shinde, a great Maratha warrior. Is Sawstant Gwalior another of his titles? Is he the same person as Madho Rao Scindia? If this sentence merely says that Gwalior was the seat of one of the Maharajas of Gwalior, I question the value of including it in the lead paragraph. —Tamfang (talk) 17:35, 16 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Don't panic; a discussion will now take place over on Commons about whether to remove the file. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion, although please review Commons guidelines before doing so.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.

Not in NCR

edit

Gwalior is not a part of NCR, because NCR has 22 districts of UP, Haryana and Rajasthan. But Gwalior is one of the 8 Counter Magnet Areas of New Delhi as decided by NCRPB since 1988 to dissipate the crowd from Delhi. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 223.184.57.199 (talk) 22:25, 9 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
