First of all, thank you very much for your edits. I was just in the middle of some updates when they came. I am finished now, although I am going to make an effort to update her article on a more regular basis and not let it get so behind this time. I welcome your input in future editing if you so decide; it seems like you know more about barrel racing.
Please see Wikipedia:Redirect A redirect is automatically created when a page (article) is moved (renamed). So, the old page is a redirect now, see Hailey Kinsel Lockwood. Furthermore, see the section "What needs to be done on pages that are targets of redirects?" This explains why the redirected term is added to the beginning of the article and bolded. I am not just being arbitrary here. P.S. While Kinsel competed under her married name, many articles were written about her, thus there are readers who search for it in Wikipedia. See [1] which shows 102 page views in the last 30 days.
Regarding the removal of large pieces of content, especially with no edit summary explaining it, please see Wikipedia:Content removal. "Unexplained removal of content is when the reason for the removal is not obvious, and is open to being promptly reverted." If she gets divorced and there's a WP:RELIABLE source, then it can be condensed. But a small mention will always there; it's her history.
Regarding the content I removed other than Lockwood, if you can find WP:RELIABLE sources and it's especially important for WP:BLP, then you can add the content back, like the horses and rodeo info. If you are like some other editors around here who don't how to create citations, supply the sources, and I will create the citations for you as well.
