Their respective world titles as part of the accomplishments?
editI've noticed that the brothers of destruction counts Kane and Undertakers singles titles as part of the accomplishments of the Brothers of Destruction, should Matt and Jeff's world championships be counted in with the Hardy Boyz section? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.2.109.35 (talk) 14:30, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
- No. We list the championships that they won while they were actively teaming together, not every championship that they've won. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 14:37, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
- Well we do note that the team wasn't offically disbanded again until the SmackDown!, after the Royal Rumble, and Matt & Jeff teamed up numerous times during their respective World titles reigns, so maybe it should be added. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.6.86.249 (talk) 11:50, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- They're weren't actively teaming on a regular basis, so no. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 18:24, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Brothers of Destruction also not actively teaming during their respective World titles reigns though, but it still counts. --Rimara (talk) 13:43, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
- I agree, there individual success should be mentioned, because other articles do and both of the Hardys have won World Titles. Ive Cena Nuff (talk) 14:16, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
Jeff's debut???
editI've just found a video on www.dailymotion.com and if you type in Jeff Hardy debut, you can find a match between Jeff Hardy and Razor Ramon, in the middle of Razor's feud with Goldust in 96 (the episode, where the usher reveals the centre fold of Goldust) and Razor gets counted out, giving Jeff the win, is this note worthy??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.235.119.242 (talk) 12:20, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- Youtube isn't a reliable source, and under the "World Wrestling Federation / Entertainment (1998-1999)" section heading, it mentions that they had worked as jobbers before 1998, so I would say no. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 13:05, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

editCould an established editor verify this edit, please? preferably one who owns the DVD mentioned in the edit summary. Cheers, -The Hybrid- 03:29, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
Does it deserve a mention?
editI dont really know what the guideline for this is, but since its mentioned Matt helped defeat Jeff, should it be mentioned that Jeff helped Matt against Mark Henry for the ECW World Championship? Ive Cena Nuff (talk) 00:34, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
World Championships
editShould we mention in the lead that the Hardy brothers is the only brothers and the only two wrestlers who make their debut as tag team and then both became world champions in WWE? In fact, Matt said so in his Myspace page that he and Jeff became the only tag team who both hold world title in WWE. --Rimara (talk) 11:23, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
- I'd say if sourced it should be mentioned. Ive Cena Nuff (talk) 21:38, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- Matt said that they were the only true-life brother tag team who became World Champions in WWE. Not the only tag team who became World Champions. The former is a statement riddled with clauses that make it exact. There have been numerous instances of tag teams going on to win World Titles (Edge and Christian being a most pertanent example, having beat them to it a few years ago and being kayfabe brothers, Rock N Sock being a tag team that had already won World Titles, the Unholy Alliance [Big Show & Undertaker] being a tag team that went on to win world titles) this is a very specific wording to make it seem special and is thus unnotable. Heck, The Funks did it decades ago. Tony2Times (talk) 03:52, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
- What does I (and what I think Matt Hardy) really mean is Hardy Boyz are the first duo who debut and best known as tag team who both won their respective world titles. Like Edge & Christian, Edge made his debut as single wrestler before teamed up with Christian, & Rock & Sock are both single wrestlers before they began teaming up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rimara (talk • contribs) 06:44, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- But that's your interpretation of what Matt said, i.e. speculation. So, basically, it's not being added to the article. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 08:58, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

- I wouldn't jump that gun just yet. If indeed you have a gun to jump. That would be more speculation as we don't know his motivations for keeping the title on Jeff (so he can win it off him for example). Tony2Times (talk) 02:24, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

Finishing Move
editThe Twist of Fate followed by Swanton Bomb is called Extreme Combination. It says so in the SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 video game. Could someone change this, I stink at doing that. It's in the finishing moves section.--Kmoney22x (talk) 21:19, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
World Wrestling Entertainment
editAs of early 2011, World Wrestling Entertainment has been re-named just WWE. ("They are best know for their time in... World Wrestling Entertainment") I do not believe that either Matt or Jeff wrestled in WWE after the name change, but it is a small change I believe is worth mentioning. If no one rejects, I will consider editing it myself...

Orphaned references in Hardy Boyz
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Hardy Boyz's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Formatting help with "Team Xtreme" name
editHi all,
I just recently created an article about the IndyCar team known as Team Xtreme. There is also an unrelated NASCAR team called Team Xtreme. I created a disambiguation page that lists The Hardy Boyz, since "Team Xtreme" currently redirects to them. Is it possible that somebody with better formatting skills than me could make it so that searching for "Team Xtreme" brings up the disambiguation page instead of the Hardy Boyz? Thanks in advance.
Early TV Exposure
editToday I saw some early footage of The Hardy Boyz when they were in Smoky Mountain Wrestling on a July 15, 1995 episode. Although they lost to PG-13, this team truly had the talent to become great and yes of course they we're just that great. Hardy Boyz Raw Debut
editThe article currently mentions their jobber run and later Heat debut, but not the date of their Raw debut as a signed tag team following Heat debut in 1998. Looks like it may not have been until 1999, from what I can find. This is relevant information that should be included. Requesting anyone with source on timeline to add this info. 130.45.24.168 (talk) 18:47, 23 November 2022 (UTC)
