Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
Image: Image is freely licensed, used in the article, and clear at 100px.
QPQ: Done.

Overall: The hook could use some work. It's kinda bland. --evrik (talk) 04:37, 29 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Evrik Can you explain how it’s bland so that I can form a new hook? SL93 (talk) 15:14, 29 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
How do you feel about 1a? --evrik (talk) 16:55, 29 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
I like that one and it was originally going to be my ALT1, but I wasn't sure if the other two had to be mentioned somehow. It sounds great. SL93 (talk) 16:58, 29 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • @SL93: @Evrik: Hello. sorry for posting this so late. But I found an interesting hook for this article. The hook fact is:
ALT2 ... that Hargovinddas Kantawala (pictured) defeated Mahatma Gandhi in the 1919 Gujarati Sahitya Parishad election and became president of the Parishad?
Parishad is one of the oldest literary institutions in Gujarat. I haven't written this fact into article. I am going to add it. Thanks. --Gazal world (talk) 09:02, 1 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Currently the election of Gujarati Sahitya Parishad is going on. The result will be declared on 25 October 2020. If the hook is going to be 'ALT2', it should be featured in DYK on 25 October. Thanks. --Gazal world (talk) 11:38, 3 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
