Hawaii?
editI'm missing something here. The "Early Life" section says:
- Swedberg was raised in New Mexico and attended Sandia High School in Albuquerque from 1980 to 1984.
Then the "Career" section says:
- After graduation, [she] moved to Kentucky…
But the "Music" section then says:
- While living in Hawaii, Swedberg grew up playing the ukulele…
Say what? Hawaii? How could she "grow up" in Hawaii if she was "raised" in New Mexico? And why isn't Hawaii even mentioned till now?
Also, isn't it obvious that if one "grows up" somewhere, that they "live there"? Can you grow up someplace without living there? Maybe Swedberg had some extraordinary experience of overnight maturity—e.g., while abducted by space aliens?
Finally, because I'm writing this on my phone, WP—in another example of something whose logic evades me—won't let me preview it before I save it, so I can't be sure all this formatting will work.
And yes, I'm using far too many linebreaks for a "Talk" entry.
So… If we can manage to talk about all this for 30 minutes (minus time for commercial breaks), this could be the WP equivalent of a Seinfeld episode. – AndyFielding (talk) 12:06, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
- She was born in Hawaii. She lived there until she was six. Her family then moved to NM, where she lived until through high school. I'm not editing the article myself -- she's a close friend -- but a couple of sources for this include Ukulele and Esquire magazines; the latter draws on the former. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 16:42, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
