Partygate fine
editShe has been reported as having received a fine. Therefore it’s entirely legitimate to include that information in the article. Star-one (talk) 06:35, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
- It's reported in the cited source as a 'claim', so not as a fact. WP:BLP needs to be closely followed, as does WP:CATVER. -- DeFacto (talk). 06:40, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
- It's reported in the sources as a 'claim', so not as a fact. WP:BLPREMOVE is clear that it should be removed, so I have removed it. -- DeFacto (talk). 07:05, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
If it was reported in some partisan blog like The Canary of Guido Fawkes you’d have a point. But it’s being reported by the Daily Telegraph and the BBC, two reputable news organisations who would not report such a thing unless they had verified its authenticity. Therefore it’s ‘good enough’ as reasonably factual to stay. Star-one (talk) 07:27, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
- You didn't convey what was reported though, which was the cause of the problem. -- DeFacto (talk). 19:22, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
