Problems
editWe have entries on the two films: Sword of Storms and Blood and Iron - this doesn't really add much and replicates most of the information there. Are there going to be more? If so this could be the central page for the series with a lot of the replicated information trimmed out. Otherwise I struggle to see the point.
I also don't understand how these can be direct to video films that get shown on TV. From the entry linked to: "A film that is released direct-to-video (also known as made-for-video and straight-to-video) is one which has been released to the public on home video formats (historically VHS) before or without being released in movie theaters or broadcast on television." (Emperor 02:48, 6 November 2006 (UTC))
- Checking the blog it looks like there might be a third in the pipeline so I'd suggest this page is used to give an overview of the series and link to the longer entries. I've added sections and the relevant links. It might be worth keeping the plot here down to a paragraph though or things could bloat. I'll go and add links in from the main entries to keep everything tied together. This page needs a picture if anyone has a good one. (Emperor 02:56, 6 November 2006 (UTC))
Meaning
editAnyone know what this means "Both films, Sword of Storms and Blood and Iron, received the signature of Mike Mignola and Guillermo del Toro." It either isn't proper English ("got the approval of" perhaps?) or, if they actually signed it somehow, it isn't that worthy of note. (Emperor 01:33, 29 June 2007 (UTC))
Iron Shoes?
editIMDB lists a Hellboy Animated installment before The Phantom Claw titled "Iron Shoes". What the deuce is this? Is it a cromulent video? The S 04:02, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
The Iron Shoes is an animated short that was released on the Blood and Iron DVD. It's taken from a short Hellboy comic and is replicated scene for scene. 70.236.18.82 17:03, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

Hellboy Animated: The Dark Below??
editOn Shaw Cable video-on-demand I wandered across Hellboy Animated: The Dark Below (HA:TDB). Found HA:TDB at IMDb (6min at IMDb) and Amazon.com (5min at Amazon)(guessing is between 5 and 6 minutes and one site rounds-up while other site rounds-down). Add HA:TDB to Wikipedia's Hellboy Animated article? Am guessing HA:TDB is an official Hellboy Animated short because 1) IMDB says writer (Tad Stones) was a writer&director of the first two full-length Hellboy Animated, 2) Wikipedia's article about Tad says he has other Hellboy involvement, and 3) Image for HA:TBD at IMDb and Amazon starts with "Hellboy Animated" (with fonts that seem to match the fonts of the posters for HA full-length movies).
