Fair use rationale for Image:Herrenvolk 4x01.jpg

edit

Image:Herrenvolk 4x01.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Possible Synoptical Error

edit

"Due to a mistake by Scully, X arrives at Mulder’s apartment, where he is shot in the heart by a Man in Black as he is trying to escape." While this is a feasible deduction from the provided information (X sees the signature "x" made in masking tape in the window and comes to investigate, but finds a dark and apparently empty apartment. X walks to the elevator, looking back towards the apartment several times as he does so, before he is shot by an MIB in the elevator.), I believe that it is too opinionated to be able to be included in a plot summary. I contend that it was not by wrong of Scully that X was captured, but rather the masking tape "x" was planted by an MIB who had caught onto X. Regardless of my own thinkings, I believe it best to reword this in such a way that it only states what is clearly visible in the episode. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.255.99.139 (talk) 02:05, 14 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

I agree. Its obvious from watching the episode (see the early scene with Cancer Man, Gray Haired Man and Elder #1) that X fell for their trap regarding Mulder's mother being in danger and was assassinated for being their "information leak". 1. It is reasonably well written.

"Mulder gets the drop on the Bounty Hunter" Make more encyclopedic
"Meanwhile, the First Elder meets with The Smoking Man" Note (William B. Davis) after 'Man'
"The appearance of Samantha Mulder, this time as a clone of her from when she was still a little girl, was used in the episode due to series creator Chris Carter's desire to bring her back as an important element of the show, referring to her as being part of the lifeblood of the series." Run on sentence. Break up.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.

I've dealt with your concerns for criterion 1. Is there anything else that needs addressed (I see you've marked crit 6 as   but not specified anything)? GRAPPLE X 22:24, 19 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
