I'll review. First note: I believe this is more interesting when saying that it plays in Leeds / England, or that the man who died had migrated. Sourcing looks fine, will look closer soon. The last pic causes a lot of white space. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:08, 2 March 2024 (UTC)

Thank you for ALT1, as for the article, on fine sources, no copyvio obvious. I like ALT1, but it could still be stronger if "victim of race harassment" would show somehow. The image is licensed and a good illustration. - In the article, I suggest to give the location in the lead - not every reader will associate the cultural event with the town, and not every reader will look at an infobox (at least so they say). His cause of death could also be a bit clearer there. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:46, 21 March 2024 (UTC)

ALT2 also, and moved comment in chronology, because who will study timestamps. - I'd prefer ALT1 though, especially in case the picture which hints at African culture might not be taken. I like the life aspect, but think the enormous height stands for importance. - I was involved in an article for a German, de:Harry von de Gass, not immediately recognized as notable and up for deletion, but kept arguing that if he got a bronze sculpture that size he was important. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:54, 21 March 2024 (UTC)

I count 125 "prose characters" in ALT4 (see WP:DYK200). Unless I'm misreading the 200 character guidance, this version seems to be ok as is. (Also, David Oluwale already redirects to "Death of David Oluwale", so I think we can decouple the pagemove from this DYK submission. Gerda Arendt, Rjjiii hello, this new image is an extract from one that is flagged - I hope the flag will be removed this week, as I filled in some missing details a couple of days ago. Lajmmoore, I believe you have misunderstood why the images have been flagged. Many countries do not have freedom of panorama for sculptures; adding c:Template:FoP-UK to the image licenses will, I think, solve the problem. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 14:48, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
