Classification of Colleges and Universities.
In deciding which colleges are called "research" universities you should indicate if you are using the Carnegie Classification system and if so, you should use R1 or R2 or D/PU(R3). Also, you should indicate that schools like Princeton and Stevens Inst. are research institutions, e.g. Princeton, R1. Or set up Research; Public and Research; Non-Public categories.
