Agriculture wasn't around (especially in India) by 12000 BCE-- the younger dryas hadn't even ended. Further, the Holocene climatic amelioration was the beginning of intensified exploitation and cultivation in the Levant, not the sudden start of domestication and full-fledged agriculture elsewhere. The "agriculture in india" (which links to this) gives a more accurate date. |
