"Hitendra Narayan was tutored as a child by John Daniell, an English sportsman who had played top-level rugby union and cricket." is there a ref for the BIB?
"He went up to Pembroke College, Cambridge, where he played cricket for his college, but did not make it into the university team" any idea what he read at university? Don't worry if you can't find that info, but it'd be interesting to know.
