Federal government websites, are they copyrighted?--Degen Earthfast (talk) 00:50, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

In this case, no, it is public domain (see [1]) so it's not a G12, but it might be a WP:CSD#A7... – Zedla (talk) 00:53, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
You'll need to find something explaining the significance of the subject (awards, recognition, etc. see WP:ORG) to avoid deletion, remember wikipedia is not a directory. good luck – Zedla (talk) 00:59, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Federal Agency?

edit

While the force may be owned or operated by the federal government, It doesnt seem to fall under the traditional scope of a federal LE Agency... The page says they can enforce federal laws, but they are unarmed, do not attend a Federal LE Academy... thoughts? Sephiroth storm (talk) 17:45, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

The LEO's of the Hoover Dam Police Department are in fact, sworn officers, armed, and attend the basic academy at FLETC. Not sure where you are getting your information from. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.180.184.75 (talk) 02:32, 6 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
