Festival date
editDoes the annual festival have a set date, on either the solar or lunar calendar? GeeJo (t)⁄(c) • 23:22, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
- The festival is traditionally held around the feast day of St. Mary Magdalene (on 22 July). The church in Velká nad Veličkou is consecrated to St. Mary Magdalene. The main feast in South Moravian villages (called hody) is usually held close to the date of consecration of a church building in a village to a Saint patron. Horňácko Folk Festival is something similar to the feast of hody, though it was never called by that name. The missing information now included in the article. Thanks for reminding me that.--Vejvančický (talk | contribs) 06:33, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
