Hi, I'm going to be reviewing this article under the Good article criteria and see if we can get it up to standards. While it's probably quite close to being a quick-fail right now, it's my first review and I'm going to give the opportunity for it to be cleaned up first.
As such, the main issues identified right now are:
- A couple of unreferenced sections, to which I've added "citation needed" tags.
- His death date is mentioned in the lead and infobox, but it's not referenced or mentioned in the body of the text.
- Unneeded sentences, like the following:
- Vasunia's first line in that play was "Chicken, top chicken!"
- Some quotes are included in the article but placed in () instead of being properly written into the body of the article, like '("excellently portrayed")'.
- The stage section would be better viewed as tables instead of lists, as per WP:FILMOGRAPHY.
- His impact on Indian theatre is mentioned briefly throughout, but the article would benefit from a "Legacy" section to probably establish his importance to the industry.
- The article could be better broken into subsections, covering different eras of his career and making it easier to follow.

It still needs a fair bit of work relating to those points above (as well as some others), but it's not been worked on for over 3 weeks now and I think that's enough time to move it forwards.
