Help needed for appropriate methods to add more information
editA lot of information on the page that existed earlier e.g. the table for academic programmes offered, most of the notable alumni list, start-up list, picture gallery, etc. were removed because they probably violated Wikipedia policies. As it happens, due to Conflict of Interests clause, the students of the Institute are not allowed to edit the page. In such a condition, I'd request someone who is experienced in Wikipedia to add the missing information appropriately so that it does not violate policies applicable. In general for comparison on which information should be added, this page could be taken as a reference: Indian Institute of Technology, BHUSouradeep1996 (talk) 01:11, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
Merger proposal
editI propose that ISM to IIT be merged into the current Article. "ISM to IIT" is a short article and it is unlikely that more details will get added to it. The content can be easily added as a section in the article about IIT Dhanbad. It doesn't add much value as an independent article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bobgali (talk • contribs) 11:27, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
Move discussion in progress
editThere is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 15:48, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
