- Hi,I appreciate your effort to contribute to Wikipedia, but I had to remove what you added. When we add content, we need to provide reliable sourcing. A quick search engine test shows me no sources that support saying that the film has a liberal tone. An "Analysis" section is still possible, but we would need to find reliably sourced content to summarize and add. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 21:04, 4 June 2020 (UTC)
External links
editAn editor thought he was being helpful by removing external links to the article.[1] As I am already in an active dispute with this editor I did not revert the change but it deleted useful links, particularly a very helpful link to the Internet Archive which included a copyright-free full copy of this film. Other edits might want to restore some of these External links to the article. -- 109.78.193.104 (talk) 15:03, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
Response to third opinion request: |
Those all appear to be useful links, with relevant Wikipedia templates already pre-made for those links. This is a film from the year 1944, therefore none of these links could be argued to even be spam or promotion. Just extra info for readers and editors. The links can remain in the article in the External links section. Right cite (talk) 18:42, 30 October 2020 (UTC) |
- They all seemed useful to me at first glance. One could argue that Rotten Tomatoes is not useful because it does not list any reviews for this film. The free public domain copy at the Internet Archive seems absolutely essential. It is not clear why anyone would delete it. It is difficult to get opinions on low importance start class articles like this but I would still appreciate more opinions to make sure there is clear consensus before restoring the all links (or maybe only some of them). Thanks. -- 109.79.171.9 (talk) 22:20, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
