Some people may perceive this Christmas special with the Peanut's Gang to be an intended and covert secular replacement for its 1960s predecessor, A Charlie Brown Christmas, which discusses the commercialization of Christmas over the true meaning of the holiday, a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ some 2000 years ago. The original version continues, though not always in its complete, orginal format because of changes in - you guessed it - increased need for commercials in the standard 30-minute time slot!— Preceding unsigned comment added by {} (talk • contribs)
