edit@CAPTAIN MEDUSA: You tagged this page with refimprove; any suggestions on what needs additional sourcing? Sdkb (talk) 05:14, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- @CAPTAIN MEDUSA: Given no reply and that pretty much everything in the article except the third paragraph of the intro is explicitly sourced, I'm going to remove the tag for now. Please review WP:TAGFARM. Sdkb (talk) 08:04, 28 December 2019 (UTC)
British English/American English
editHi @Ivan Humphrey! Do you have a source for the British English and American English differentiation you made? I feel like I've seen "indie cinema" used fairly often in the U.S., but that might just be British influence creeping in. There's also the terms "independent cinema" and "indie movie theater". {{u|Sdkb}} talk 17:04, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
- Hi @Sdkb, "movie theater" is a chiefly American English word (and spelling), meanwhile "cinema" in Commonwealth world is not just movie art/technique but it can also refers to the building. See this source from OED [1]. Thank you. Ivan Humphrey (talk) 17:16, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
