Difference between india Post & IPoS

India Post is a department under ministry of communications. Where Indian Postal Service(IPoS) is a group A central civil service recruit through UPSC CSE exam. Indian Postal Service(IPoS) are like IFS,IA&AS,IRS(IT),IRS(CUSTOM),ICLS,ICAS,IRTS ETC.

I tried to find independent RS, and failed. I think that we should follow the example of German Wikipedia, where India Post and its governing bodies are lumped together (see de:Indische Post). The modern organizational structure is at [1]. Викидим (talk) 16:56, 6 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
