In Downton Abbey

edit

Inveraray played the role of Duneagle Castle in the Downton Abbey Christmas special 2012. Somebody added it and someone else removed it from the article. Once one knows what to search for it is actually easy to find a source confirming this: [1]. Not sure if it is too trivial to add to the article at this point, so I'll leave it here. --Hegvald (talk) 12:07, 30 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Inveraray Castle is a country house near Inveraray in the county of Argyll, in western Scotland, on the shore of Loch Fyne, Scotland’s longest sea loch. Designed in part by William Adam and Roger Morris, work on the Gothic Revival castle began in the 1740s. The castle, the seat of the Duke of Argyll, chief of Clan Campbell, is open to the public.Photograph: Son of Groucho
