Date of birth
editThe new version of the J. D. Tytler school website gives his date of birth as 31 March 1898. This seems more plausible than the 1902 date found elsewhere, which made him only 38 when he spoke of retiring (quoted in the article). I have accordingly changed the date everywhere.
