Dakota Access Pipeline
editThis article is currently seeing a bit of vandalism related to the Dakota Access Pipeline actions. I certainly believe that the article can benefit from coverage of his actions in relation to the subject and other legislative issues, such as his "mandatory evacuation" due to the snow. Perhaps someone can add it? I don't know enough about the situation to add details myself. I was actually coming here to learn about him because of this issue. Controversies and criticism are certainly reasonable to include in the article as has been done with other politicians on Wikipedia. Centerone (talk) 18:48, 30 November 2016 (UTC)
Article states "Dalrymple called in the North Dakota National Guard's 191st Military Police to use water cannons, rubber bullets, bean bag rounds, smoke grenades, and tear gas on protesters, resulting in serious injury to 21 year old Sophia Wilansky, who nearly lost the use of her left arm". However, there is no evidence that she was injured *because of the police*. Rather, she was likely injured by a protester AED. With no concrete evidence, I do not believe an encyclopedia should state, conclusively, that it was the police that caused the injury. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:240:8002:3F20:D133:2BF2:6D69:EDA1 (talk) 11:42, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
It seems like there is zero evidence of the claim that the North Dakota National Guard injured Sophia Wilansky. Her father *claimed* they did, but there is zero evidence. I think this statement should be deleted as it has no supporting evidence. Hardwidg (talk) 16:49, 27 December 2017 (UTC)
