Dates of birth and death

edit

The Yorkshire Post article [1] and the brief biography in The Times guide to the House of Commons 1950 both give his birth year as 1921 (and the YP gives his birthday as January 27) but this is contradicted by the primary sources found from the family and official records i.e. birth and death certificates which both have his DOB as 27 Jan 1920 (marriage certificate gives an age consistent with DOB being 1920). While YP and The Times are reliable sources this does look like a transcription or calculation error which has been carried from one publication to another, so at the moment I think it best to exclude all dates. Although not admissible in Wikipedia due to it being original research... according to FreeBMD the birth of a Jack Kitching (mother's maiden name Emery) was registered during January→March 1920 in Bradford district. Best regards DynamoDegsy (talk) 14:14, 31 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
