Daughter Eva?
An alleged daughter "Eva Brown" was recently added to this bio. Does anyone know if this is legitimate info, or might it be a questionable and historically inspired (Eva Braun?) piece of mischief? I am removing it for now pending a reliable source. SergeWoodzing (talk) 10:30, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
James Brown home
In the biography of James Brown, you state that he has a riverfront home. Yes, Beech Island does border the Savannah River. However, James Brown's estate is almost three miles away from the river. Please Google to confirm 76.125.31.150 (talk) 02:35, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

Can you please change James Brown's birthdate to 1933!
I can't believe that after the discussion on the talk pages etc...that nothing has been done about the INCORRECT birthdate of 1928. James Brown was born in 1933! The whole history behind the wrong birth date is discussed in Geoff Brown's book from 1994. The 1928 date came from a mistake in a 1960s NME article which became the source of this longstanding INCORRECT data. The chronology of his early life does not make sense if he was supposedly born in 1928. This is just incorrect, and is a well-known fact of James Brown fans and scholars. I love Wikipedia but it absolutely destroys my faith in it, if data that is known to be incorrect, has been argued on your pages as incorrect continues to get published through laziness! I wanted to change it myself, but I fear my edits would be quickly revoked. JAMES BROWN WAS BORN IN 1933, NOT 1928! Researchactive (talk) 21:42, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson several times mentioned James Brown as his primary inspiration. Why is this not mentioned in the article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Skysong263 (talk • contribs) 02:52, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
