Biased used of passive voice
edit"he is believed to have illegally taken a gun from Rayco Sales"
As I understand it, this is one of the key contentions in the lawsuit -- whether the gun was licitly or illicitly obtained. The defense claims it was stolen, the plaintiffs assert it was bought and paid for. This is an excellent example of why passive voice should be avoided: not stating BY WHOM it is believed unfairly prejudices the article in the defense's favor. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CNJECulver (talk • contribs) 23:02, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
