editI don't have much experience with editing wikipedia articles and I've never posted to a talk page before, so please forgive any noob mistakes I make; the third reference in this article seems to have nothing to do with the article itself. The article is about Jason Itzler and following the link to the "girl found eating herself in crib" article, it just has nothing to do with Jason Itzler. Don't know how to delete a reference. Thanks for any help. Cellodont (talk) 13:08, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

editWhy is this a page?
editThe vast majority of this article is attributed to one article from 2005. What standards is this article adhering to? It is a self-promoting advertisement. There are scant references to verify information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.74.146.126 (talk) 17:29, 22 August 2019 (UTC)
- Fully agree. This guy doesn’t need a lane: absolutely looks like he wrote it himself. 2603:7000:2603:7241:D9:E2BA:75C5:A847 (talk) 23:37, 15 July 2023 (UTC)

editShouldn't he be more accurately described as a "pimp" rather than an "entrepreneur"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2607:F600:1006:3503:B080:2A4:86F9:F14C (talk) 21:56, 14 February 2019 (UTC)

- Is this about the August edits by Robertclark32 (10th) and Onceinamoon (12th) ? A summary more thorough than "BLP and no" probably would help better educate people what the issue was with the 1,110 removed characters was. JotsBank (talk) 19:34, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
- I agree—-the intro should read “Jason Itzler (known as “MrBased” on TikTok)…” Hoyalawya731 (talk) 00:30, 4 October 2024 (UTC)
Felony Conviction
editIntroduction should include Convicted Felon

I dont know how this website works, however, considering that this page is linked in Itzler’s instagram page, in combination with the facts that there is no mention of the death he caused and no mention of his recent charges, Itzler likely has an unjustified amount of control over this page, and it should be modified to reflect his true character. 2605:0:4:895:E036:E86B:6C7B:F5DE (talk) 17:37, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is a summary of what is said in reliable sources. Anyone can edit it, though some particularly controversial pages like this one can only be edited by people who have a lot of experience on Wikipedia to avoid frequent vandalism. We also have strict rules about biographies of living persons and neutral point of view to avoid saying anything that could be potentially defamatory until there is strong reporting in reliable sources to confirm the information. If you believe there's anything that should be added, you are welcome to continue this request with links to reliable sources that confirm the information. We have no control over anyone's Instagram page, but many people have acknowledged what Wikipedia has written about them and it's not unusual. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 18:57, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
- Itzler clearly has control of this page, there is zero mentions of his involvement with the murder of Julia Sumnicht or of his involvement with tiktoker Joshua Block " AKA world of t-shirts". Virtually all the citations are from a 20 year old article that appears to be a piece commissioned by Itzler, or maybe ghost written by Itzler himself. Coughington (talk) 18:24, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
