Jathi Malli → Jaathi Malli – That is not only the spelling on the poster, but also the correct way to pronounce it. Readers may overlook the "aa" pronunciation if one "a" is left out. Kailash29792 (talk) 07:54, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose - arguments about pronunciation are irrelevant, because English doesn't distinguish between "a" and "aa". It's the same thing with Dacca, Bangladesh. The official spelling was changed to the more scientific transliteration of Dhaka, but that didn't effect the English pronunciation because there is no difference between d and dh in English.
