Unsupported statement

Despite being from a very conservative state Moran has made financial contributions to The Planned Parenthood Federation of America and has made Pro-Choice comments and statements at Republican Party Dinners and Fundraisers.

This needs a cite. What "pro-choice comments and statements" has he made? Links and quotes would be good. --Mr. Billion 08:17, 1 January 2006 (UTC)

This article dosn't sound like it's unbiased, the second paragraph sounds like a puff piece, copy and pasted from a congressional biography. -Rtaycher1987

I looked at the "About Jerry" page of his official web page (http://www.jerrymoran.house.gov/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=37&Itemid=102) and almost every statement made is shown here. Merely because they are in a different order doesn't make it new or different. Also, it is completely biased, because the Congressman wants to sound good, not unbiased truth. --Sgaulisl —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.147.235.164 (talk) 13:38, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

If someone, e.g., a summer intern, wants to improve the senator's page, there's nothing wrong with that. However, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a soapbox or means of promotion. See WP:NOT. Wikipedians are encouraged to disclose conflicts. Deleting truthful but unfavorable material, especially when sourced, should be avoided without explanation. See WP:CONFLICT; see also WP:AB. Sources should mostly be secondary to ensure impartiality and importance. See WP:PRIMARY. If you have questions, we are here to help. --Joe Jarvis (talk) 02:17, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Jerry Moran

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Jerry Moran's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 04:51, 2 August 2019 (UTC)

Following suit with Dick Durbin and Bernie Sanders, these outdated official portraits from a decade ago should be replaced with recent images. Here's some potential replacements and let's vote as to whether we should change the image. I personally prefer options B and C (more of B). --TDKR Chicago 101 (talk) 00:54, 6 October 2021 (UTC)
