what to do with this article after jet airways takes over it. both jet airways and this article will need complete overhauls.

Re: What to do

edit

The two articles would have to be merged together, and then Air Sahara should be listed as one of the categories, possibly in History.

Finally, Merger is here

edit

This is the initial announcement of the merger: http://www.hindu.com/2006/01/20/stories/2006012003081700.htm

Today Rediff announced the name of the new airline: http://www.rediff.com/money/2007/apr/16jet.htm

I have created a (temporary?) redirect page from Jetlite to Air Sahara. On the other hand, I cannot find a single reference for the name "Trans Jet" (the ones from Google are the ones that cite this article).

Now that the merger is confirmed, a large part of this article (and probably Jet Airways) need to be rewritten. I am at the moment collecting links, but if anyone is familiar with the corporate negotiations of the past 15 months or so, please update these two articles. Binand 21:05, 16 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Air Sahara logo.png

edit

Image:Air Sahara logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.Betacommand (talkcontribsBot) 04:50, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Main Base

edit

The main base of Jet Lite Operations is Delhi

JET LITE Airline no longer has 5 CRJ's as it claims in its website

edit

DGCA website for schedule aircrafts is being updated regularly. taking that rational now only 18 aircrafts are left in JETLITE fleet. Airline website is not updated even in case of Jet airways where it shows 91, and 3 new atr are yet to be updated. Hence when information is right and i personally vouch because i travelled thru VIZAG the CHENNAI -VIZAG - KOLKATTA CRJ is changed with JETAIRWAYS more than 2 months back even before announcing of winter schedules. You can also search on CRJ plans of JET AIRWAYS in media which is cororborative evidence that JET has indeed returned the CRJ aircrafts. They are slow in updating fleet, but DGCA cannot do such misktakes with SCHEDULED flights atleast as media is behind them in case of any troubles. CRJ they are running are very old aircrafts and airline is incurring lot on their maintenance. Visit http://www.dgca.nic.in/caris/know_ind.htm

Anyone can certify this source so that the JetLite page be corrected for actual fleet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rsun.ca (talkcontribs) 22:45, 7 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
