It is, but not unheard of, in 30's a number of prominent fascists were former communists, Adela Pankhurst comes to mind, for example. In-fact I think a few of the Australia First group were former communists, or on he left early on in life at least. Andrew Bolt was a Labor staffer early on, Paddy McGuinness was on the left in his younger years too. I think the source holds up. Tambor de Tocino (talk) 12:06, 17 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
