Lebanese?
I'm removing the reference to Lebenese origins and the category, per WP:LIVING. It is simply not verified. The reference provided is to a site critical of the subject, which quotes a nemesis of the subject, who they claim is notable for: For constantly and casually reminding everyone of Van Tongeren’s Asian heritage, Saleam is labelled a "Sand Nigger" by the ANM, due to his own, some-say Turkish, some-say Lebanese, background.. THat does not comply woith WP:V not by a mile. Find a better reference if you want to replace it.--Doc 09:26, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
There is more to the NSPA than Jim
What you have done is totaly wrong. There is more to the National Socialist Party of Austrlaia than Jim. I think you should un do what you did and re-creat the article about the formal party. --DePeRe 10:03, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
Privacy concerns
It is wrong to tell where people live because it may be a attack on Jim's privacy. So I have removed that part from the article. --DePeRe 10:07, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
- The subject's place of residence has been mentioned in at least a couple of newspaper articles.[1][2] It also appears that his current movement is based in the same town.[3][4][5][www.stormfront.org/forum/archive/index.php/t-226959.html] Is it too late to protect his privacy? As a politician he doesn't seem to seek privacy. -Will Beback · † · 11:07, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
Criminal convictions
As far as I can tell, the current external links do not mention insurance fraud or unlawful possession of firearms. I would delete them due to BLP if it weren't for his conviction for assaulting Eddie Funde. Andjam 11:02, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
Its well enough documented the fraud stuff. Not sure about the firearms. http://www2.ca.nizkor.org/ftp.cgi/orgs/australian/anti_defamation_commission/ADC_ONLINE.0308.pdf

Accused?
I think you'd better read this:
Saleam also denied claims, made in an online encyclopedia "Wikipedia"", that he had obtained his doctorate while studying in prison.
The article also claimed he was born in 1955, may be of Lebanese ethnicity—an assertion he has also denied—and has used violence to achieve his aims.
The Wikipedia entry also linked Dr Saleam to National Action, the Patriotic Youth League and Jack Van Tongeren–a hard-line right winger who has also been linked to acts of rcially-motivated violence.
The Wikipedia entry also claims Dr Saleam had committed insurance fraud—an allegation he would not confirm or deny yesterday.
Saleam told the Leader the Wikipedia entry had been compiled by anti-racist enemies of his who were using it to discredit him.
(From "Leaflets proclaim anti-refugee stand", The Northern Daily Leader January 31, 2007)
I can understand his claim that he didn't complete his thesis in prison. (Study was carried out between 1995 and 1999; he was in prison between 1991 and 1995.) However, his claim that it was written by, to quote, "anti-racist enemies", is nothing more than an attempt to gain political leverage, and realistically an unbased claim. If it was written by enemies of his, then fine, I understand that, but to say it was written by anti-racists...this is an encyclopedia, we must give the facts as they are presented. If they don't like the facts (even if it's about them), then get over it. --JB Adder | Talk 20:18, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Identifying our impending Societal Meltdown
I'm removing the section of text that's quoted bellow. There are no references and it has no place on a biography page. It's impossible to define "traditional Australian values" and "agendas" have no place on wikipedia. The whole passage just reads like personal opinion.
Identifying our impending Societal Meltdown
Dr James Saleam by his own admission has experienced a turbulent past, one however that has only served to galvanise this extraordinary man. Dr. Saleam has identified and challenged many areas relating to the ongoing catastrophic breakdown of the failed social experiment that is multi-culturalism. Dr Saleam has written extensively and authoritatively detailing Australia’s impending societal meltdown given the disastrous erosion of traditional Australian values that has been proliferated by far leftist agendas.
Fair use rationale for Image:Saleam.JPG
Image:Saleam.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
I will remove Saleam's claim of innocence, and all links to his website and writings
I am removing the line about Saleam's claim of innocence, which cites Saleam's own internet rantings. 1. I don't think it's a notable source, though if someone wants to find a newspaper or published book where Saleam claims he is innocent, then they can re-add the line. 2. I don't think we should be linking to the website of Jim Saleam, as it would be considered inappropriate by many people. Wikipedia should be reporting what happened (ie from news sources), but not giving Jim Saleam a platform to launch his website. Thanks, Lester 01:44, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
Sourcing an anarchist blog, but deleting links to his own 'ramblings'?
I fail to see how this qualifies as impartiality. Two of the links down the bottom are to a BLOGGER, called 'Slacksteve' or something. He's an anarchist blogger who -hates- the man in question from what I've read.
Why link to the negative opinions of a man such as this, but not to the opinions of the man himself?
I get the feeling it's got something to do with this guy's political opinions, and what wikipedia editors think of them.
In the interests of impartiality, until someone feels like writing a proper article here I suggest it be either deleted or reduced to a stub. This is rotten, I don't care how small fry this guy is, this sort of nonsense shouldn't stand. I don't care if you're far left pro mass immigration and think people like Jim Saleam should be burned at the stake or killed in a gulag, or if you're Jim Saleam himself, no one deserves to have a shit hateful excuse for an article like this kept on the internet about them.

Two of the links are to a blog named 'Slackbastard', true. However, as footnote (5) clearly states, the post in question republishes an article which originally appeared in the SMH's Good Weekend supplement ('The Audacity of Hate', Greg Bearup, September 26/27, 2009) and thus would appear to qualify as an 'impartial' source according to Wikipedia guidelines (the article is unavailable elsewhere). The second reference (8) is indeed to a post by the blogger in question, and would appear to have been included because it contains a reference to controversy over Saleam's ethnicity. This is covered in explicit detail in Bearup's article. Otherwise, anyone who is interested in Saleam's own views will find a link to his own website under 'External Links'.
