War with France

...Weimar was on the brink of a war against France: French military troops commanded by Napoleon were heading to the city.... it was widely known that a conflict between France and Weimar was imminent.

– What war against France? Relevant German WP section says nothing about a war "between France and Weimar." Presumably, these are references to the Napoleonic conquest of most of Germany in 1803-07. (See War of the Third Coalition and War of the Fourth Coalition.) This section should be cleaned up to make this clear – and to get rid of such redundancies as "military troops."
