I'd be interested to know whether the whole draft in its current form is sufficient. I am happy to work on the draft but would appreciate some help and direction. Thank you in advance. Belchford (talk) 16:23, 30 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
@UtherSRG Honestly, no. I'm going to assume it's from the deWiki article about the same person, but the edit summary needs to contain a link to the relevant article or articles. (Though, ideally, I do a one article per edit rule). It should be easily fixed with a dummy edit however, as per WP:RIA. I can do it later on my computer, but I'd much rather let @Belchford do it so they can show that they know how. GreenLipstickLesbian (talk) 20:04, 30 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
@GreenLipstickLesbian So, if I understand this right, then the following attribution would suffice, correct?
NOTE: Content in the edit of 10:49, August 28, 2023 is translated from the existing German Wikipedia article at de:Johannes_Drerup; see its history for attribution.
@Belchford yep! You can add it in by what we call a "dummy edit". You can either add a few spaces at the end of a line, fix a minor typo or formatting issue, and then just paste that edit summary in. GreenLipstickLesbian (talk) 18:47, 31 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
