Our subject was born as Macknowski, changed his surname to Mackin in 1952 and then seemingly used the alternate spelling Macknowsky until his death. The article already references the 1952 name change to a news release which is definite. I cannot find any subsequent occasion of him relinquishing that name in favour of Macknowsky; it is however apparent that he did change it due to the obituaries of himself and his wife, news coverage, his Seton Hall Hall of Fame induction and even his own self-published book. What is the best way of detailing this in the article? CalDoesIt (talk) 08:59, 2 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
