José Treviño → Jose Trevino – One of the entries listed upon the José Treviño disambiguation page is American Jose Trevino (baseball) whose name is not accented. As a result, the unaccented form — Jose Trevino, which currently redirects to the dab page's accented main title header — José Treviño, should become the dab page's main header, with José Treviño redirecting to it. This RM contradicts the still-active Talk:Jose Trevino (baseball)#Requested move 15 April 2022 which posits that the American player's main header does not need the parenthetical qualifier "(baseball)". — Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 16:29, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose. Given that only one listing here does not use accents, this seems like giving too much weight to the baseball player, especially given that a Spanish name like this will be written with diacritics most of the time. Nohomersryan (talk) 21:38, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose the three other subjects have the accents in their names, and in general, like Nohomersryan said, district are more likely to be used in Spanish names. MainPeanut (talk) 02:03, 10 May 2022 (UTC)
