PROD concern stated as "The article for Juan de Quiroga y Apablaza was created eight years ago. I have viewed the first revision of this page, and almost nothing has changed since. This very possibly shows a lack of notability. The article is also failing to garner significant attention from the editing community. Therefore, I propose that this article be deleted." The source for the article is the Biographical Dictionary of Chile, therefore the subject meets WP:ANYBIO #3 "The person has an entry in the Dictionary of National Biography or similar publication." The article about him can be seen on Wikisource here [1]. His biography there states that he was a Mariscal de Campo, which apparently [2] is a divisional commander, therefore he meets WP:NSOLDIER #5 "Commanded a substantial body of troops in combat e.g. a capital ship, an army division or higher". He also received several awards, so might meet #1 as well, but I have not checked the individual awards. RebeccaGreen (talk) 02:17, 4 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
