birthplace?
editstumbled on her page and noticed that she was apparently born in two places. thats odd. anyone know where she actually was born? its possible she was born in the bronx but of dominican descent but its also possible she was born in the dominican republic then moved to the bronx when she was very young. anyone out there?Whitey138
As far as I know she's from texas. I actually edited the article because it originally described her as a "Dominican born in New York". Needless to say that's a contradiction: She is an American of mexico descent. ---philosopher2king 3/17/08 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Philosopher2king (talk • contribs) 13:14, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
She speak spanish as a native with not american english accent at all, so I doubt she's only just of hispanic descent ,unless spanish was really taught for real at her birth home. Usually americans of spanish descent are very easy to spot for their accent and errors, that is, for those who are native spanish speakers. So a citation would be fine. --201.252.45.42 (talk) 17:51, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Spanish decent? She’s Spanish; And for your information Latinos born in the US can speak without an accent, I doubt you’ve ever been to the US and been around Latinos that grow up in Latino neighborhoods in America. You’re IP is from Argentina, so you can’t comment on something you obviously know very little about. I’m an American born Latino and I don’t have a non-native accent when I speak Spanish, but I’m sure you have a non native accent when you speak English. And Judy Lopez was born in New York not the Dominican Republic so she is American. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.116.180.169 (talk) 00:46, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
And if you want to talk about bad accents Argentineans have some of the worst accents of the Spanish Language, everybody makes fun of them… —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.116.180.169 (talk) 00:48, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
