After consideration, I am replacing this with information from the article.- sinneed (talk) 22:28, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
I propose to remove the 2 article flags
editThere are still a number of facts, especially dates, that need citation and improvement. More detail on his career should be possible, for an interested editor. However, with the sources and content integrated into the article from the ELs and existing citations, it seems adequately sourced.
If there are no objections, I will remove the flags in a couple of days.
I do think the article lacks balance. It presents the positive in an even-handed way, I think, but there is no negative. If an interested editor adds it, it **MUST** be done in a way that complies with wp:BLP, or I will delete it PROMPTLY, or some other editor will.

Does Julio Ribeiro have any association with Goa, or some other Portuguese Indian colonial ancestry?
editThis is implied by:
- Both his personal and family names being Portuguese names.
- This article being marked as of "Mid-Importance" by Wikipedia:WikiProject_Goa
However, there's no explicit context for either of these, and Mumbai (his birthplace) is more than 400 km north of Goa.
What's the connection? A good encyclopedia should eschew implicit knowledge. Thank you for your attention. 2001:1C04:4003:8900:25BA:CC52:B236:43C5 (talk) 11:54, 20 August 2022 (UTC)
