Was 19th July 1922 not 9th July 1922, according to Wiki World record progression. One of them has to be wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.112.16.191 (talk) 12:32, 9 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Derek Jeter 3000th hit

edit

The event noting the 3000th hit by Derek Jeter does not meet the notability requirements for this page. He is the 28th person to reach this milestone. The event has been repeatedly added by a "die=hard Yankees fan". This event should be removed. Swayback Maru Mufka's alternate account (talk) 14:52, 17 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

If no discussion takes place on this, I'll go ahead and remove the entry. It's reasonable also to consider reversion of the removal without discussion to be vandalism. I'll give it a bit more time. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 00:21, 20 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
I have removed the entry since no discussion has taken place and this event is not notable in this context. I have also left messages on the talk page of User:Chessmaster2800, the editor who had repeatedly added the event. I can infer that the editor has read the messages that I left since the talk page was subsequently blanked. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 23:39, 26 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Under Events, the sentence "Four hundred and seventy prominent Cypriots including Archbishop Kyprianos are executed in response to Cypriot aid to the Greek War of Independence" is missing a period at the end. 64.85.225.94 (talk) 18:39, 9 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Kevin Nash

edit

Hi @Toddst1, would you mind restoring the entry for Kevin Nash? His entry has been present since at least this edit. WP:DOYCITE applies only to new entries. Unless, of course, there is some other reason for it not to be here. Thanks, Kiwipete (talk) 19:47, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Kiwipete: From DOYCITE: Any material lacking a reliable source directly supporting it may be removed and should not be restored without an inline citation to a reliable source. (bold mine). Toddst1 (talk) 20:56, 10 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
