stone "was laid" at a particular minute?
edit- Moved from Talk:Main Page
Clocks in the 12th century were not very accurate. I rewrote the text in the Charles Bridge article to make clear that this 5:31 a.m. is a "specified time". If they got it right to the nearest five minutes, then they were probably doing pretty good for that era. We do not know what really happened, but I suppose there is no need to change the text. That is, unless we care about reporting "the Truth". -- 75.26.5.242 00:57, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

One of the entries on this page does not read well:
1944 – World War II: American forces defeated Japanese on the island of Saipan in the Mariana Islands.
I would suggest a change to:

- I agree, if we indicate Argentina's independence day, we should indicate South Sudan's independence. JaumeBG 00:25, 9 July 2011 (UTC)
