Why Species Cuts?

[edit]

Jurassic World Evolution 3 brings a whole new system of park building/dinosaur realism to the games trilogy, Juveniles. This has required modifications to all, except hybrid, Dinosaurs and Flying/Marine Species in the game, as they now require a Male/Female species counterpart, so for instance, Sinoceratops female has a smaller crest than our usual Sinoceratops. For the small Dromaeosauridae such as Velociraptor, the male counterparts now are quilled, rather like the JP3 Velociraptors. Of course, with this came the need for juvenile models, which are arguably, all very cute.

Although there was worry about the species cuts, with the 2 updates we have had so far, we have seen the return of Kentrosaurus, and also Deinocheirus, previously a DLC Creature, return for free, with fully functioning counterparts and juveniles. We also recently received the first DLC, This being the Wetlands DLC, and it included 3 species, none of which were from the previous game, being resold, which seems to suggest any previous species will return for free later on in development.

For now all we can do is wait, and look foward to new species in DLC`s and returning species in the free updates ahead.
