Merge KK Beobanka into KK Vojvodina Srbijagas. NIS took over the founding rights and became the owner of the entire capital of KK Beobanka. It's basically the same club, like Lions Vršac and Radnički Kragujevac. Also, Vojvodina Srbijagas is also defunct now so it would be better to have everything in one article. --IndexAccount (talk) 10:27, 14 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

I don't have enough information on how this 2000 switch from KK Beobanka to KK Vojvodina Srbijagss was executed in terms of the legal framework. I wish there were some newspaper clippings or maybe even archived URL links from that period to shed some light. In terms of the 2009 Lions/Swisslion Takovo switch to KK Radnički Kragujevac, though I'm speaking from memory that may be faulty, I believe that the Vršac club simply changed its name and location without dissolving its legal entity ("pravno lice"). Whether this was also the case with KK Beobanka in 2000, I'm not sure.216.58.51.104 (talk) 16:53, 14 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
According to, Agency for Business Registers (APR) Vojvodina Srbijagas entered into the register in 1998, while Vojvodina became in 2000. So, it means that Beobanka moved to Novi Sad and changed its name to Vojvodina. Also, there is the sentence in this text quoting Kada je 2000. godine NIS kupio KK Beobanka, premestio taj klub iz Beograda u Novi Sad i „prekrstio“ ga u NIS Vojvodina.... I think everything is clear now. --IndexAccount (talk) 06:14, 21 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

KK Novi Sad page should not have been merged into the KK Vojvodina Srbijagas page during the KK Beobanka page merge

edit

Yes KK Novi Sad got legally merged into KK Vojvodina NIS in 2011, however, KK Vojvodina NIS had existed for 11 years prior to that point, therefore the KK Novi Sad page should be kept as a dissolved basketball club page.

There are many identical examples all over Wikipedia of the merged club's pages being kept:
- KK Lastovka page has been kept even though the club merged with another entity to form a whole new entity - KK Primorska.
- Both KK Olimpija and KK Cedevita pages are kept even though both entities are now legal parts of a new entity - KK Cedevita Olimpija
