Wrong spelling

Contrary to what happens in Spanish (where words such as Perú must have an acute accent on the last letter), and even though this is one of the commonest spelling mistakes made by native Portuguese speakers themselves (which is probably the cause of this article's current title), Portuguese grammar rules forbid the use of an acute accent on the last letter of a word ending in "u" or "i" where this last letter is preceded by a consonant. Thus, words such as caju (cashew), saci (name of a Brazilian mythological entity) and urubu (vulture) do not have an acute accent, and the latter's use is unacceptably wrong spelling according to Portuguese grammar rules.

In the text of an article, editing out a spelling mistake is easy, but what does one do when the very title of a main article is misspelled in Wikipedia? The rightly spelled Urubu Sign Language link (without the accent) correctly redirects to this article, but it should be the opposite.

On the top of wikipedia pages, to the right of the "edit this page" and "history" tabs, there is a "move" button. You can use this to rename articles. :) The old name automatically becomes a redirect to the new name, but articles that link to the old name should really be updated too, if only to lessen the load on the wikipedia servers, so they don't have to negotiate two jumps rather than one every time a reader clicks on the link. The only other step for an article move is getting a consensus from other editors that the new name is indeed preferable. I had a look at academic publications on this language and found that the original article (published in 1968) used the accent, but most recent publications did not.
