I have changed the opening line of the plot summary, as the original line, gave the impression that the second class citizen status of women as depicted in this film is an objective fact, when of course it is the subjective view of the makers of the film. I have also removed the statement that the Talmud says that a childless woman may as well be dead, because this is not factually correct. The Talmud's debate on the subject of men and women's childlessness is complex and does not carry the value judgement illustrated in the film.
