Being an agriculturists, Kahut seems to be a local offshoot of Jat tribes of district Chakwal area. Her origin can't be from Arabia for the very simple reason that there is no letter "T" in Arabic.
Moreover, Jats are pure local multiple tribes of subcontinent. Although, Quraish are an honorable tribe from Makkah and prophet Muhammad PBUH was from that Quraish tribe, but we see lot of local sub-continent individuals/groups called themselves Quraish just to project their social status and to grab financial and social favors from local illiterate Muslim communities. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.1.204.239 (talk • contribs) 22:20, 10 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
