Tarif, I would not call Kalapani a process. Is it called so in your book?
Kalapani, as you know much better than me, means ,,Black Water and refers to the way Hindu people imagined the area between India and ,,the rest of the world, so the speak. So the process of travelling to Britain cannot be called ,,Kalapani but rather ,,crossing the Kalapani.
I would thus suggest changing the definition of this term in this article.

P.S. Unfortunately I do not know Bengali, but I can name plenty sources in English which say something about Kalapani and travelling to Britain. For example, M. Fischer, Counterflows to Colonialism or the book by Shompa Lahiri, Indians in Britain.
