separate modern Kalibangan from the excavation at Kalibangan

edit

See my comments at Talk:Bhirrana. We need to make separate articles for the modern settlement and the ancient settlement. --AlexanderVanLoon (talk) 08:40, 1 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Fire altars?

edit

I did some thorough search for that claim. Except for fringe websites, there is no proof or photographs for the claim of ‘fire altar’ in a Vedic sense. The terms altar and fire altar are very loosely used for structures that could be just hearths or fireplaces. Do anyone has access to clear photos of Kalibangan excavation or ASI website links? Can you be more specific about the "fringe" websites"? Sooku (talk) 07:58, 21 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Earthquake, or Drying Up?

edit

The subtopic "Earliest earthquakes and end of Phase-I" states that there was an earthquake at 2600 BCE and that it led to the end of Kalibangn settlement. The subtopic "End of Civilization" attributes it to drying up of the river bed. Both sections refer to same person. B. B. Lal. An expert should look into it.
