Kamala Harris's tenure as Attorney General of California → Kamala Harris as Attorney General of California – Per WP:CONCISE and this discussion. estar8806 (talk) ★ 04:16, 24 August 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. - I think the proposed title parses as "Kamala Harris when she was Attorney General of California", which would include biographical information about that period of her life, whereas the scope of the current article is "acts performed by Kamala Harris in the role of Attorney General of California". - For what it's worth we have examples like Keir Starmer as Leader of the Opposition. I haven't looked all the similar articles up but if they all follow the same format an argument can be made for this move based on WP:CONSISTENT. Keivan.fTalk 14:01, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
- I am able to support this because it appears to be a convention that we follow with other pages and it makes sense when you read it. Jorahm (talk) 16:48, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. Looking at Category:Tenures in political office by individual, "tenure as" titles seem to be preferred for inferior executive positions, while "career of" is preferred for legislative positions, and simply "of" for seniormost executive positions. - Support the page titles are sort of inconsistent here so I would go with the WP:CONCISE one... Jorahm (talk) 17:21, 15 September 2024 (UTC)
The first 4 paragraphs do not have any reference. Can someone explain why is this is the case, and also the paragraphs should be changed to include references. Hadjnix 07:36, 7 November 2024 (UTC)
